Structural Inspection — Dwelling & Retaining Wall

Ahead of a planned property sale, the owner engaged an inspection of the dwelling and a masonry retaining wall at the rear of the site to confirm there were no outstanding structural concerns.

The dwelling showed no significant structural defects and was assessed as being in sound condition throughout. The retaining wall was examined against AS 4678 — Earth-retaining structures and AS 3700 — Masonry structures, and was found to be performing as intended, with no signs of leaning, cracking, or drainage-related distress.

A written structural assessment confirming both the dwelling and the retaining wall were in satisfactory condition, giving the owner documented assurance ahead of sale with no rectification works recommended.
