The Call
A unit owner in a Class 2 strata building noticed progressive cracking along the property's brick retaining wall and was concerned it was getting worse. Saymex was called to inspect the wall and surrounding soil conditions.
What We Found
Inadequate drainage was causing hydrostatic pressure to build up behind the wall, pushing it forward over time.
